I brought my dog in for a bath. The cashier told me I had to be done by 6pm and only had 10 minutes and would have to check with the manager. 10 minutes was all I needed. The manager says, "Let me check." As she is walking back, the cashier yells back to her, "They are both(the baths) clean." The manager comes back and tells me that they are actually both dirty and it would take her 5 minutes to clean one and that would only leave me with 5 minutes to wash my dog which she says is not enough time. I'm not even sure that I believe what this manager is saying... You know how it is when it's almost an hour to closing time and you get two conflicting stories... Things that make you go hmmm. That's besides the point. What really disappoints me, is my husband and I go here all the time for our chicken feed and supplies, and to wash our dog. If the baths were indeed dirty, then it isn't my fault that tonight's employees don't have their dog baths maintained and ready for customer use. I shouldn't be penalized because An-Jan left their dog baths in an unusable condition. Had they been clean, I could have come in and washed my dog no problem. I would have thought a small business like this would have better customer service. I don't understand why, if they were in fact dirty, you wouldn't just clean one up for your loyal customer, for any customer, instead of denying them because you, as a store, were unprepared. Guess I expect too much.
